Cozy Up for Some Adventure

Welcome to a collection of stories that are designed for young and old alike. Find encouragement through humorous tales of family, childhood, and faith. Underneath it all, you'll find analogies, references, and undertones related to the Christian walk, global missions, and moments that have shaped history.  Raised as a history, missions, and literature loving homeschooler, I've taken inspiration from the childhood thought process, godly family dynamics, and the beautiful process of growth that happens in the heart of children as their families' faith becomes their own through the discovery of the moral reasons why behind just about everything. Dive into stories of adventures both extraordinary and just plain extra ordinary. Have fun, and be blessed as you do,

In Christ,

Makayla

The Henderson Family  Stories

Come join the Henderson family's adventures! There's never a dull moment for this crew as they have both ordinary and extraordinary escapades. Each story is told through the eyes of a different member of the family and has a two-fold purpose. One the one hand, kids will enjoy the tales for the twists, turns, and life lessons that they contain. But also, parents can read between the lines to discover deeper meanings and analogies, as well as rediscover how children think to better empathize with their own children.

Each story takes just under an hour to read and is ideal for parents and children to read together.

And what does it all have to do with Sparkly ponies, "Afghanland", and an American missionary called David Brainerd? Find out for yourself as you cozy up together and read Sunday school Answers!
